What to Expect

If you will be joining us on Sunday morning for the first time, welcome! We look forward to meeting you. Stop by the Welcome Table in the Atrium on the main floor for more information about Greentree. You can expect to meet all kinds of friendly people who will be happy to answer your questions or help you find your way around.

You might be interested in attending a class at 9:00 AM; we have something for all ages. We also have childcare for Infants and Toddlers at 9:00 AM and at 10:45 AM, Infants - 3 years.

Worship Service

We have two worship services on Sunday morning, at 9:00 and 10:45 AM.

We are glad to provide ADA compliant assistive listening devices for those who have hearing difficulties.

A typical worship service lasts about 70 minutes, and includes:

We enjoy a blended style of music on Sunday mornings. You will hear some new songs, some older hymns, and even some old hymns set to new music. Worship at Greentree is a participatory, interactive experience and we invite you to join in as you follow the lyrics on screen.
There will be several times of corporate prayer during the Sunday morning service, led by the pastor, an elder or the worship team. You may be invited to spend some time in silent contemplation or confession during a worship service. If you have a particular need or concern, or simply could use some encouragement, our prayer team is available after both services to pray with you or for you.
The teaching time is always rooted in Scripture and seeks to communicate God's Truth in compelling, relevant ways. Messages are available each week on our podcast.
We take time monthly to celebrate The Lord's Supper and welcome all Christ-followers to participate in this sacrament of worship and remembrance.
We seek to give generously as an act of worship, obedience, celebration and thanksgiving to the Lord. We do not regularly schedule a time for the offering during the Sunday morning worship service, but you will find "offering churches" inside the two entrances of the sanctuary in which you may put your offering. You can also give online.
