Administrative Assistant - Full Time
Overview of Position
To assist staff in the administration of all aspects of the following ministries: Worship, Communications and Community Connections. It will also include developing a team of administrative volunteers to assist in this support.

Responsibilities
- Manage staff appointment schedule
- Process calls into the department in absence of staff
- Complete all budgeted reimbursement forms complete with attached documentation for department and submit to appropriate staff member for authorization
- Coordinate all conference details for leaders and department heads
- Maintain departmental information in database; coordinate efforts with Front Desk Admin support
- Create spreadsheets for departmental tracking and reporting detail
- Inventory and purchase supplies/curriculum as necessary for staff, ministry leaders and program participants
- Coordinate and help plan administrative details for ministry events, both large and small scale (i.e. retreats, short-term mission trips)
- Organize and manage registration of classes and ministry events
- Schedule room reservations for all classes, ministry programs and events
- Set up room for all classes, programs and ministry events
- Organize table decorations for Sunday morning sign ups
- Coordinate communication of administrative details with other leadership groups as it pertains to programs and ministry events
- Administer communication plans for ministry events
- Administer communication, worship, and strategic calendars
- Coordinate the logistics for all print materials and mailings
- Update information on current or new promotional communication pieces
- Coordination of creative element details: video production and communication pieces
- Prepare Power Point presentations for classes and ministry gatherings
- Develop content for Sunday morning ministry promotion slides
- Download and duplicate CD recordings
- Recruit, train, coach and maintain contact with an administrative team of volunteers to aid your department administrative projects/special events/ workshops/ or weekly administrative functions (non-sensitive information only)
- Share phone responsibilities with other administrative support staff as necessary
- Attend department planning meetings

Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Maturity in handling sensitive confidential information
- Spiritual gift of Administration
- Strong organizational and editing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software
- Proficient in Database Management software
- Proven ability to recruit, lead, and coordinate teams of volunteers of all ages and various roles
- Exhibits a growing and life changing relationship with Christ
- Be a Member of GTCC; if not currently a Member, commit to attending the next Membership class
- Exercise the spiritual disciplines to ensure a life of integrity and commitment to God
- Participate in a community group that includes Bible study and accountability
- Participate in Leadership Development regularly
