In our hectic and splintered world, people often feel alone and disconnected from one another. We believe a Biblical church not only proclaims the gospel, but also provides community for disconnected people.
Community Groups are gatherings of 6 to 14 people meeting in individual apartments and homes throughout the city during the week. They provide an opportunity for intimacy, friendship, mutual support, practical love and service, learning about the Christian faith, prayer, and sharing of what God is doing in our midst. In Community Groups, people are nurtured, equipped and released for God's work in the world. All groups are led by trained lay-leaders from the congregation who are given continued oversight and support.
We at Greentree Community Church would love to have everyone pursuing God, people and purpose through participation in a Community Group! We have Couples' Groups, Mixed Groups, Women's Groups and Men's Groups, some which meet weekly and some which meet bi-weekly. There is something for everyone! Please contact Diana at 314.909.9197 or to get help finding a group for you.
Community Group Leaders' Appreciation Event!
Thursday, February 24, 6:15 - 8:30pm at Jim & Megan Schmidt's home
Head on over to the Schmidt's house for dinner, fellowship and games...plus a few words of thanks and encouragement from Jeremy, our guest speaker. We want to thank you for your service as a C-Group Leader and it's also an opportunity to bring someone from your group who might be a potential leader down the road. So please bring a guest and let them see first hand that it is just ordinary people who lead groups. Please RSVP to Lauren, 314.909.9197 or
