Love Wins? Part 3 We’ve been talking about Rob Bell’s new book Love Wins ...
Whether you are just curious about learning about the Bible or a seasoned student of the Bible, you will find engaging discussion, relevant messages, and an opportunity to develop relationships with women of all ages on Thursdays in the Women's Teaching Ministry (WTM). A program is available both in the morning (9:30-11:30 am) and in the evening (6:30 - 8:00 pm).
Find your way to the heart of Jesus and learn how to live life in reckless abandonment to Him as we consider the legacy of love as left by the disciple John in his inspired writings. Please Join us on our 'Journey of Love' and pursue the abundant life God has for each of us.
We look forward to continuing our 'Journey of Love' as we study "In the Upper Room" by Tom Kelly. This study is based on the words Jesus spoke to his disciples during and after the Last Supper. Topics include the glory of God, the relationship between Jesus and the Father, the Holy Spirit, the believer’s relationship with Jesus and with the Father, persecution, heaven, and much more.
Class runs from January 9th, 2012 - March 15th, 2012
9:30 AM at Community Covenant Church 777 West Adams Avenue, Kirkwood, MO 63122
6:30 PM at the home of Debra Cole, 711 Craigwoods Dr. Kirkwood, MO 63122

On Thursday mornings, we offer a full preschool program for children 2 through 5 years that mirrors what the women are studying. Using a curriculum that has been developed specifically for the children in our Women's program, we reinforce the stories using the 5 senses. Each week we also memorize scripture, sing songs, role play and have a very creative craft for the children to take home. There is a nursery of loving caregivers to take care of the infants up to 2 years. Classes fill quickly so secure a spot for your child right away. Contact Sandy Ehrhardt at . Please call Debra Cole @ 217-257-3042 if you need childcare for the evening study.
Women’s Community Groups are gatherings of women who meet together during the week for study, prayer and fellowship. Women are challenged and encouraged to follow Christ in boldness, adversity, sacrifice, joy, and love. Like regular mixed Community Groups, they provide an opportunity for friendship, support, service, and sharing of what God is doing in our midst. All groups are led by trained lay-leaders from the congregation who are given continued oversight and support. Some groups meet during the day, and other groups meet during the evening. Please contact Diana at 314.909-9197 or for more information.
Tuesday Mornings. A group of women meet from 9:00am - 10:30am each week in a home. Led by Michelle Drochelmann, Jenny Wagner and Sally McNeill. Contact Diana at 314.909.9197 for more information or to join this group.
Thursday Mornings. A group of women meet from 9:30am - 11:00am each week in a home. Led by Joan Holley, Sharon Buchannan-McClure and Margie Seibel. Contact Diana at 314.909.9197 for more information or to join this group.
