Hope Unlimited is a non-profit youth outreach which exists to: "Work with at-risk youth in the metropolitan St. Louis area and introduce these youth to Jesus Christ. All kids today are at risk and need positive role models and uplifting relationships to steer them in the right direction. Hope Unlimited strives to equip them with the skills to become productive members of society in their families, schools, and places of employment." Currently, the focus of our volunteer services is in the Meacham Park area of Kirkwood. North Kirkwood Middle School's Success Center provides an after school tutoring program that benefits students in our community who are in need of additional academic support. This excellent program provides an environment with a student to teacher ratio (3 to 1) and requires parental partnership/support to ensure student participation. Lydia's House, St. Louis, Missouri
Since its incorporation in 1995, Lydia's House has worked to provide safe transitional housing, comprehensive, goal-oriented support services, and access to community resources for more than 300 abused women and their children. Lydia's House currently provides homes and care for 35 women and up to 70 children. Lydia's House is Missouri's largest provider of confidentially-located, furnished apartments for abused women and children for up to 24 months, and is one of the largest programs of its type in the United States.
