A fun, high energy atmosphere, where students in grades 6 through 12 are given the opportunity to explore and ask questions about life and faith.
We are looking for...
Small Group Leaders (2-4 hour commitment a week)
- Meeting on Wednesday evenings for ROOTS from 6:30 - 8:30 pm
6:30 pm: arrive to the meeting place, learn about the lesson and games for the evening, and prepare for small group time - Leading a small group of junior high or high school girls or boys (we will assign you a group)
- You will lead that group for the entire year
- Calling the kids in your small group once a week
- (Optional) Volunteering to participate in special events, retreats, trips, or missions projects
Special Events
- Helping with meals for Wednesday night ROOTS meetings
- Helping drive students to major events like Fright-Fest at Six Flags
- Hosting a house party for the youth at your home
- Helping with service project ideas
- Staying overnight for a lock-in
- Anything creative
- (Optional) Volunteering to participate in special events, retreats, trips, or missions projects
Sunday School Leaders
- Attend at least three Sunday school morning classes a month - being present with the students, hang out
- Participate in Sunday school discussion
- Help prepare breakfasts to bring early before Sunday school (Sign up sheet)
- Volunteer to teach in the rotation with other volunteers, Brad and Elisa
- Volunteering to participate in special events, retreats, trips, or missions projects
* All positions require completion of a request for a background check.
