What might you expect if you come to Greentree for a Sunday morning worship service?

You will meet people just like you.  People who have both joy and sorrow in their lives; men and women of all ages and stages of life that experience similar ups and downs. We do not have “good church people” at Greentree, just normal people with the normal challenges of life.

You will see joy. Joy as a deep emotion, not always reflected in an outward expression, but experienced even in the pain of life. It is the quiet assurance that something life-changing has taken place.  Many in our spiritual family express joy in worship because they have discovered that God is full of compassion and mercy, not anger and contempt for people like us!  Our joy may be expressed in singing or quiet meditation.

You will hear about the good news of Jesus Christ; whom he claims to be, and what implications that has for our lives. You will hear how each of us can know him personally as Lord and Savior.  He is the source of our joy, so all of our worship is “Christ-centered.”

Finally, you should know that our Sunday morning gatherings are always planned with you in mind!  Our goal is for every person who walks through our door to have a genuine encounter with the God of the universe!  Regardless of whether you have grown up in a church or never set foot in one, our desire is that you will meet God in this place.

Our music, prayers, life-stories, messages, and all aspects of our time together, are planned with the hope that when you walk out the door, you will have some practical application for your life!

Hope we see you Sunday!
