Greentree Community Church will be hosting a local IF:GATHERING in conjunction with the one in Austin, Texas, joining women from around Saint Louis, across denominations, generations, and cultures. At IF:Gathering 2018, we will look at one of Paul’s letters to Timothy as he reminded him of the power and responsibility of sharing the gospel. We want to give God away in the very places He’s put us, so we’re going to gather for the purpose of remembering why following God and making disciples matters. We all get tired, we all wonder if what we’re doing matters, so IF:Gathering 2018 will be the reminder--it will be the celebration. The work we’re doing to share the gospel on the earth is worth it and God DOES move through the little things that nobody sees. Join us.
Grab a friend and join us - all ages from 15 years on up are welcome! We have a Facebook group that will keep you connected to all the latest info - IF:GREENTREE.
The IF:GREENTREE weekend will be funded by donations covering all expenses associated with the retreat including the simulcast, speakers, food, hospitality and supplies. Donations may be made via cash or check (made payable to Greentree Community Church; memo: IF:GREENTREE).
The approximate cost per person of the event is $30, but we want all women, including anyone who could not pay the full ticket price, to have the opportunity to attend. Therefore, we do not have a set price, and ask that you give what you can and be a part of making the gathering happen. For those of you who can afford to pay your full way, would you please consider giving the cost of the ticket or more to help us bridge the financial gap? We believe God will provide what we need through the resources He has given to all of us.
IF:Gathering’s vision is to gather, equip, and unleash women to live out their calling. They do this by providing tools & resources that leaders use to serve women in their communities through the local church. They have adopted a "Give What You Can" philosophy, thereby allowing all women to participate in making the gathering happen which we have adopted as well.
