At Greentree, we think of ourselves as a “spiritual family.”  Members of a family share common beliefs, purpose and a commitment to one another. It’s also a place where it is safe to be yourself, and a place where you are known, needed, loved and cared for. That is exactly our desire for those who become members of our spiritual family.

Becoming an official member of our congregation, rather than simply a part of the audience, brings a sense of ownership and belonging. Greentree becomes not “the church,” but “my church.”   Membership includes other rewards and also responsibilities on your part.

If exploring membership and becoming an active and committed participant in the life and mission of Greentree Community Church sounds like something you want to pursue further, contact Diana Simonpietri, 314.909.9197 x1008 or   to register for the next Discovery Membership Class on Sunday, January 5, 2020. The Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28

2020 marks the 16th year of one of our favorite highlights - 20:28 Serve Our City (Matthew 20:28) - when we have the opportunity to share the love of Christ with our neighbors, the community of Kirkwood and the greater St. Louis area. Below are just a few of the many opportunities we have had to share Christ’s love with others:

    • Makeover an apartment for a family coming out of an abused situation
    • Planting flowers in front of the Kirkwood Police Station
    • Painting several rooms in a foster home
    • Serving lunch to the homeless

On Saturday, June 13, friends and family gather at 8:00 AM for prayer on the upper parking lot of Greentree, and then disperse throughout the St. Louis area to SERVE our community.
