    AA (Alcoholics Anonymous)

    Every Thursday, 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM

    Location Greentree Community Church

    AA is a voluntary, world-wide fellowship of men and women from all walks of life who meet together to attain and maintain sobriety.  The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.  There are no dues or fees.  AA is a program of total abstinence.  Members simply stay away from one drink, one day at a time.  Sobriety is maintained through sharing experience, strength and hope at group meetings and through the suggested Twelve Steps for recovery from alcoholism.

    AA meets at Greentree Community Church in Room L009 (the large adult classroom downstairs) every Thursday morning from 7:00 – 8:00am, 100 Kirkwood Place, Kirkwood, MO  63122.  You may simply show up or you may contact Diana at 314.909.9197 with questions.

    Tom Werner, one of our GTCC Elders, will be teaching a study he created on the gospel of Mark.  The emphasis of this study is to equip a person attempting to answer the questions an unbeliever or a skeptic may ask about faith.

    October 13:  NO CLASS.  Church-wide pancake breakfast, followed by one outdoor worship service at 10AM

    October 27 - December 1:  Louise Jones will lead a 6-session DVD study by Rick Warren entitled "God's Answers to Difficult Questions."

    Imagine the impact you will be a part of creating when you join 45 to 60 volunteers, over a long weekend in Ensenada, Mexico, to build homes for 3 - 4 families who never dreamed of living in a house without a dirt floor. Reasons to go?

    • To carry the love of Christ to a family with no home, living on as little as $50 per week
    • Work alongside a family who struggles daily with basic needs of food, shelter, education, adequate medical care and sufficient employment
    • Serve with your family and friends, ages 6 to 90, who can swing a hammer or use a paint brush (no experience necessary, just a good attitude)

    AA is a voluntary, world-wide fellowship of men and women from all walks of life who meet together to attain and maintain sobriety.  The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.  There are no dues or fees.  AA is a program of total abstinence.  Members simply stay away from one drink, one day at a time.  Sobriety is maintained through sharing experience, strength and hope at group meetings and through the suggested Twelve Steps for recovery from alcoholism.

    AA is a voluntary, world-wide fellowship of men and women from all walks of life who meet together to attain and maintain sobriety.  The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.  There are no dues or fees.  AA is a program of total abstinence.  Members simply stay away from one drink, one day at a time.  Sobriety is maintained through sharing experience, strength and hope at group meetings and through the suggested Twelve Steps for recovery from alcoholism.

    December 14:  Dinner & Christmas performance of Ambassadors of Harmony at the Touhill!  An annual event.  We will attend the 2:00pm matinee and go out to dinner after the concert.  Meet in the church parking lot to carpool to the Touhill at 1:00pm.  (we have already purchased tickets, but we'd love to have you join us for dinner!  Location TBD.

    Sr High Honduras Mission Trip

    During the summer, our Sr High students, including rising 9th - completed 12th graders will be traveling to Honduras to partner with the Micah Project   An application is required and preference will be given to upperclassmen. There will be limited space, so secure your spot now with a $200 deposit. The total cost for this trip will be $2000 and an additional $800 will be due by April 1st. 

    The application is here and is DUE FEBRUARY 1st!  Lastly, there will be a mandatory meeting for students and their parents from 12:00-12:30pm on Sunday, February 2nd.

    October 13:  NO CLASS.  Church-wide pancake breakfast, followed by one outdoor worship service at 10AM

    October 27 - December 1:  Louise Jones will lead a 6-session DVD study by Rick Warren entitled "God's Answers to Difficult Questions."

    December 14:  Dinner & Christmas performance of Ambassadors of Harmony at the Touhill!  An annual event.  We will attend the 2:00pm matinee and go out to dinner after the concert.  Meet in the church parking lot to carpool to the Touhill at 1:00pm.  (we have already purchased tickets, but we'd love to have you join us for dinner!  Location TBD.
